This is the 50th Anniversary Special Edition News Paper that was ONLY made for the World Famous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. This paper and Official events program magazine are from 1990. The Rally that year was from August 6-12. The News Paper is 5 Sections with many color pictures, and excellent news articles about the Sturgis Rally. This was the year that Malcom Forbes, ( from the Forbes Magazine) came to Sturgis and flew his motorcycle shaped hot air ballon over Sturgis. Malcom Forbes is no longer with us, but he changed a lot of the negative attitudes that went with the Sturgis Rally. Suddenly it became more respectable. We are also including a special magazine as a companion to the newspaper that includes all the events during the 50th Anniversary Sturgis Rally. It is 122 pages with lots of pictures, articles, and events listings, with the names of some of the most famous motorcycle racers in the world. Both are in excellent condition. We have had this stored away in an air tight drawer and there is no mold, stains etc. on either the newspaper or program magazine. Plus we will throw in a 50th Anniversary collector lapel pin just so you have a complete set.
